AP 954 is designed for the removal of rust from ferrous surfaces and oxides and heat scale from many jet engine components as part of various multi-stage processes.

- Mix 1 part of AP-954 to 1 part of water.
- Remove heavy rust by wire brushing.
- Remove grease by appropriate cleaner before applying the solution.
- Apply by spray, dip or brush.
- Allow the solution to remain on the metal surface until the rust is loosened or dissolved.
- Remove by rinsing with hot water followed by appropriate post-treatment.
- Solution can be used at room temperature.
- The bath concentrations can be maintained in accordance with the method of bath monitoring provided by us
