SOCOSTRIP A4301
> PAINT AND SEALANT REMOVER FOR USE BY DIPPING
Paint and sealant remover usable hot (60 to 80°C / 140 to 176°F) by dipping.
- SOCOSTRIP A4301 is suitable for the removal of multiple layers, epoxy or polyurethane, or paints with thick primers, as well as sealants.
- This product contains neither phenol, nor chlorinated solvents and therefore is safe for users. It is free from NMP.
- It does not attack ferrous metals, stainless steels nor aluminium-zinc alloys.
- Does not embrittle high strength steel.
- Can be used in tanks equipped with ultrasonics to reinforce the activity.
- Removal by dipping from clamps and application materials soiled by sealants.
- Removal by dipping of glycerophthalic, alkydurethane, polyurethane, epoxy, etc... paints.
- Provide the tank with a tight lid; the parts to be treated may be placed in baskets or on gratings. A protective layer is used to reduce evaporation (ADDICAP 2).
- The application temperature ranges from 60 to 80°C (140 to 176° F), according to the nature of the paints or sealants to be removed and their thickness (maximum temperature 80°C / 176°F).
- Provide a conical bottom with draining at the low point to collect paint waste. After draining of waste, readjust the level of the bath with new product.
- After separation or dissolution of the coats of paint, rinse with pressure jets or better using solvents DIESTONE.
- Fill in the tank with SOCOSTRIP A4301.
- If necessary, check the volume of the protective layer regularly in order to be sure that the active layer is always covered with at least 10 to 20 cm of ADDICAP 2.
- It is important to drain regularly and completely remove the sludges in the bottom of the tank (a conical shaped bottom gives the best results). Once the sludges are removed, bring the bath back to the initial level by adding new SOCOSTRIP A4301and ADDICAP 2 if replenishment of the anti-evaporation layer is needed.
