The Constellation exposed in Paris Bourget museum has been stripped with SOCOSTRIP A0103N

Published on 30 October 2012

In record time, SOCOMORE has delivered SOCOSTRIP A0103N to its customer STTS Le Bourget for the stripping of the Lockheed Martin historical aircraft.

The Constellation four-engined commercial aircrafts were launched in 40's and were designed to serve the American transcontinental lines. They were requisitioned by the U.S. Air Force for transporting troops during the Second World War.

This Constellation is the property of Le Bourget Air and Space museum since 1975. It  is used as a backdrop for feature films or television. It is therefore stripped and repainted from time to time to adapt to the needs of script writers. For example, in 2006 it was repainted with the colors of the airline company Air France for the French movie  "La Vie en Rose" which describes the life of Edith Piaf.

Socomore is aware of the importance of the reactivity in the delivery of paint strippers for the aerospace industries. Our teams have made every effort to deliver its customer  in a very short time. STTS Company has already used the SOCOSTRIP A0103N for its first stripping of the Constellation in Paris Bourget.
