General Requirements:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) position requires a very high degree of consistency and attention to detail.  Prerequisites are excellent communication skills, a high level of computer literacy, good customer service skills, proficiency in order entry, shipping, HAZMAT certifications, import/export requirements, and quality procedures.  This person must also be dependable in attendance and performance.



  • Customer Service Skills (ability to answer the phone, quote pricing, answer customer questions, etc.)
  • Computer Skills (proficiency in Peachtree Accounting, Microsoft Word & Excel, Labelworks, various shipping programs/websites)
  • Quality Program (must learn and comply with our AS9100 Rev C Quality Management System, responsible for producing Certificates of Conformance, Test Reports and processing Quality Documents such as completed Sales Orders)
  • Scheduling (schedule production/filling of orders in conjunction with Production)
  • Inventory Control (track and manage inventories, keep Lot Log up to date and accurate)
  • Shipping (must know commercial shipping procedures, produce commercial invoices, Dangerous Goods documents and complete DOT/IATA HAZMAT certification)
  • General office duties (filing, managing supplies, literature requests, etc.)



  • Education:  A minimum of a high school degree with 5 years of previous experience.  Less experience may be acceptable with a college or associate's degree.

  • Attention to detail 
  • Ability to work overtime as needed (after hours or weekends)
