Description of EUROCOAT

EUROCOAT is a versatile non-VOC release agent specifically developed for the composites industry.

This semi-permanent release agent acts as a barrier between the mould and the composite part. The solid content is very high and the solvent content is only 3%. EUROCOAT is stable up to temperatures of 400°C (752°F).

EUROCOAT is available in liquid form or as impregnated wipes SATWIPES C86 that meet AMS 3819 B and BMS 15-5 certifications. The SATWIPES C86 are ideal to control the product application and consumption

  • 97% dry content
    • Very low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) release
    • Improves users’ safety
    • ONLY one layer of product application is necessary
    • Time saving in application because no waiting time for evaporation
  • Non-migratory release system
    • No contaminating transfer onto the composite part

Use

EUROCOAT can be used with thermosetting resins (epoxy) cured up to 400°C (752°F). It can also be used with phenolic resins, pre-pregs, resins curing at high temperature or other resins.
