Description of HDL-340
HDL-340 is a liquid with a slight cherry odour. It is a aqueous blend of heavy alcohol, surfactants, and penetrants.
HDL-340 is a heavy-duty liquid decarbonizer. It is intended for use where caustic based products and petroleum distillates cannot be used.

HDL-340 is a a product from the MagChem range.
a) HDL-340 is not meant to be used in cabinet spray washers.b) HDL-340 can be detrimental to certain types of paint. Pre-test prior to immersing coated parts.c) Please note that there will be a precipitate formed in the drums of HDL-340, this needs to be added to the process tank.To facilitate this, some of the product can be pumped back into the drums to assure proper mixing.The crystals will dissolve on heating.For more information regarding the danger of the product, please consult the product safety data sheet according to local regulation.For industrial use only.
Directions for use
Decarbonizing:Use neat, heated to 54 – 60°C (130 – 140°F). Immersion time is determined by the tenacity of the residues.Follow with a water rinse. To extend the life of the product, parts should be degreased prior to the decarbonizing immersion.Rinse:Decarbonizing should be followed by a pressure water rinse, over the water rinse tank, to remove loosened deposits. Then immerse parts in the water rinse tank.Heavy-Duty Degreasing:Use neat, heated to 38 – 54°C (100 – 130°F). Immersion time is determined by the nature of the sludge or greases that are to be removed.Concentration can be maintained in accordance with the method supplied by MagChem Inc.
