AP-954 is designed for the removal of rust from ferrous surfaces and oxides and heat scale from many jet engine components as part of various multi-stage processes. Type 316 stainless steel tanks or other acid resistant containers should be used.

AP-954 is a concentrated solution of phosphoric acid, detergents and inhibitors.

  • Inhibited against attack on steel.
  • Removes rust and scale from steel and chromium plated ferrous surfaces.
  • Can be applied by spray, brush or immersion.
  • Fast acting and free rinsing.
  • Removes oxides and heat scale from many hot section jet engine parts.
