ALLIANCES
Aerochemicals is a dynamic alliance of international specialists in specific markets within the aerospace industry. The alliance is committed to providing a wide range of essential products, services, and technical support. International suppliers for OEM and MRO, Aerochemicals members are the leading suppliers of a wide range of products and services including cleaning and stripping, surface preparation, paint, temporary protection, and non-destructive testing products for aircraft, engines, and sub-assemblies such as landing gear. They also offer chemical packaging and management services.
It represents 11 manufacturing locations, 40 sales offices, 7 R&D labs, sales > US$100, and over 250 workers worldwide.
SOCOMORE is one of the founding members. Members include Contec Inc., Dysol, HaasFinechem, Metal Chek, Pexa, PSA, SherwinBabbCo, SOCOMORE and Testron.
Socomore participates in three of SAE’s aerospace materials committees (G8, G9 & J) collaborating with the industry to develop Standards pertaining to aerospace chemicals. SAE is an association of 128,000 technical experts in the aerospace, automotive and commercial-vehicle industries that coordinates Standards development and publishing.
EMC2, the French industrial cluster dedicated to advanced manufacturing technologies, promotes investment in innovation that will ensure the future of a strong French manufacturing sector, a crucial component for economic prosperity.
EMC2 defines technological priorities and coordinates high-value collaborative innovation projects by creating synergies between large international groups, small and medium-sized companies, research laboratories, and training. It provides a wide range of services in order to turn innovation into new processes and products and speed up the industrialization and research outcome for companies’ growth and competitiveness. SOCOMORE is a member of EMC2.
SOCOMORE is a member of GIFAS, the French aerospace industries association. GIFAS has more than 369 members, from major prime contractors and system suppliers to small specialist companies. They cover the full spectrum of skills from the design, development and production of aerospace systems and equipment to maintenance and operation. Activities extend from civil and military aircraft and helicopters to engines, missiles and armament, satellites and launch vehicles, plus aerospace, defense and security major systems, equipment, subassemblies, and associated software.
France Chimie is a professional organization that gathers all the chemical companies together and offers them a structure in which to exchange and meet. It helps them in their development and represents and supports them in the various fields in which it is active.
The International Aerospace Environmental Group (IAEG) is a non-profit organization of global aerospace companies created to collaborate on and share innovative environmental solutions for the industry. The group works to promote the development of voluntary consensus standards and provide accessible solutions for key environmental issues. Members of IAEG recognize that there are currently a wide variety of different laws and regulations impacting health and the environment in place worldwide. T
SOCOMORE attends some of AEG work groups addressing such issues as chemical material declarations and reporting requirements, the development of alternative technologies and greenhouse gas reporting and management.
