Clear Catalyst

CHEMGLAZE® 9986 is normally used with A-Line and Z-Line coatings at 1-2%. It presents no pot life limitations if the coatings are not exposed to moisture.

At higher loadings, no greatly increased cure rate is obtained and the danger of plasticization and adhesion failure is possible. A-Line and some V-Line coatings contain an in-can catalyst.

If faster cure is desired, an additional 1-2% of 9986 may be added. Use of a co-reactant catalyst (9995) and/ or increaded humidity and airflow will increase the cure rate to an even greater degree.
